I gave these three photos to a friend of mine who knows a photographer. She sent the photos to him and only a few weeks later, Beau and Delta were scheduled for their first professional Photo Shoot. The photos came out so well, they were published in the 1999 Yorkie Calendar published by Pridewood Publishers in Corona, California.
Beau was the model for the months of January and July, and Delta was the model for August and October. The calendar photos are also on this web site coming up soon.
Everything was coming along just fine, but I got "YorkieMania" once again.
It happened one day when I went to visit Delta's breeder. Linda Eiswirth (who I had met in New Orleans) was visiting her and they invited me down for a visit. It was great to see Linda E., Boo and Roxie again. Linda E. and I were sitting on the sofa. I reached down and picked up Delta and asked her why she was being so quiet. Linda E. said "Ric, I have Delta here." I then looked at the puppy in my hands. Linda and I held them up next to each other. They looked 'exactly' like twins. From then on, I knew I must have that puppy. The breeder finally relented several weeks later. (after much whining, crying and belly-aching from me and several other great friends who are on a Yorkie Email List I'm a member of.)
